File access issues can be due to Figma outages or permission changes. Check our status above. Figma files are cloud-based - during outages, you can access recently opened files in the desktop app's local cache if available.
Figma auto-saves to the cloud continuously. During outages, the desktop app caches changes locally. However, multiplayer collaboration stops working. Avoid force-closing the app to prevent data loss during sync issues.
Multiplayer features depend on Figma's websocket connections. During partial outages, you may be able to edit but not see others' cursors or changes. Collaboration syncs once service resumes, but conflicts may need manual resolution.
FigJam runs on the same infrastructure as Figma design files. Outages typically affect both services. Check the status page for component-specific information. Dev Mode and other features may have different availability.
